Next Century Technologies began in 2001 in Tracy Hardin's home in Woodford County, Kentucky. Originally founded as Woodford Computer Solutions, Tracy built the business by traveling to client locations across Central and Eastern Kentucky to support computer networks and servers.
After moving to Lexington, she renamed the company Next Century Technologies and continued growing it through responsive service and trusted client relationships. In 2012, she hired her first employees, and the business evolved from break/fix support to managed services with a stronger focus on cybersecurity and compliance.
In 2025, Executive Vice President Ronnie Goodpaster became a junior partner in the firm, reinforcing Next Century Technologies' long-term Kentucky leadership and independent future. The company remains committed to local ownership and building strong, lasting relationships with the businesses it serves.
In 2026, Tracy celebrated 25 years in the IT industry, helping businesses improve their technology, strengthen security, and navigate compliance challenges.
At Next Century Technologies, we believe IT support should be responsive, practical, and built around long-term relationships. Our goal is not just to solve immediate technology problems, but to help clients build more secure, stable, and effective IT environments over time.
We work closely with each client to understand how their business operates, what risks they face, and what kind of support makes the most sense. Whether a business needs managed IT services, stronger cybersecurity, compliance support, or help planning for growth, we focus on solutions that are realistic, effective, and aligned with long-term success.
Clients stay with Next Century Technologies because they value responsive service, practical guidance, and a team that understands their business. We focus on building long-term relationships by helping organizations improve reliability, strengthen security, and make smarter technology decisions over time.
